I joined the ranks of Wayfinder Destinations in 2021. I married my soulmate (Cindy), a real-world rocket scientist, and we share a passion for travel and a love of Star Wars. We are both retired from the United States Air Force and are very blessed to spend our summers in Colorado and our winters on the island of Maui with our Golden Retriever, Rey.

I’m a graduate of the Disney College of Knowledge and The Travel Institute in addition to being a certified Travel Advisor for 15 additional cruise lines. My personal cruising experience includes Atlas Ocean Voyages, AMA Waterways, Azamara, Carnival, Celebrity, Costa, Disney Cruise Line, MSC, Royal Caribbean, and Virgin Voyages, with upcoming trips on Windstar Cruises and Viking. I have extensive experience building custom travel itineraries. I owned and operated a fly-fishing destination travel company for eight years; and currently plan multi-week, land-based trips and cruises to Alaska, Australia, Europe, New Zealand, etc. I created a Bucket List, a 5-week custom African Safari, and a trip to the Seychelles for our 25th wedding anniversary. And recently planned a 20-day self-drive tour across New Zealand for a dear friend from college and her family.

I am a certified Sommelier, professionally trained private chef, advanced open water SCUBA diver, high-performance driving instructor, and FAA-licensed private pilot/UAS (drone) operator. I have visited all 50 states and more than 55 countries across all seven continents. I have visited all of the main Hawaiian Islands and we lived on both Oahu and Maui. Cindy and I love to whale watch, and I am an avid freshwater and saltwater fly fisherman and tennis player.
